Cancellation policy

This policy explains cancellation rules for payments, challenge participation, created challenges, and account deletion.

Last updated: 2026-07-01

Cancelling participation

A user may leave or stop participating in a challenge, but leaving after payment does not automatically refund the entry fee or restore prize-pool eligibility.

If the challenge has started or another participant has already joined, the entry fee generally remains in the prize pool and the user is no longer eligible for payout if they do not complete the rules.

Cancelling a created challenge

A creator may edit or abandon a draft challenge before it is published. Once someone else has joined a paid challenge, the creator cannot unilaterally change the rules or cancel it in a way that harms paid participants.

If pymwymi needs to cancel a challenge for safety, legal, technical, fraud, or provider reasons, affected users may be notified and eligible paid entries may be returned to wallets or refunded where appropriate.

Payment cancellation

If a user closes or cancels a payment provider checkout before payment confirmation, the payment is not treated as completed and the wallet or challenge join may remain pending or fail.

If money leaves the user account but the app does not update, contact support with the payment reference so pymwymi can investigate with the provider.

Account cancellation or deletion

Users can request account deletion from the app profile screen. Deleting an account does not automatically undo completed payments, challenge results, reviews, payout records, or records that must be retained for financial, legal, tax, fraud-prevention, or dispute-handling reasons.
